Both are great firmware.

RRF3 also has the option for accelerometer and input shaping and is still under development.

RRF3 has an object model of the printer state that can be used with conditional gcode commands to create powerful customizable solutions. I don't think klipper has that yet.

You need to measure the offset in XY and enter it in G31.

For the mesh, you must create a mesh size that keeps the probe within the bed area to make the best use of the area. The firmware will skip points it can't physically reach.

For bed.g and homing files you must position the probe where you want first.

then your code was put first at the beginning then at the second attempt at the end of the macro. the home I ran after the printing had started so the machine was busy. thanks for the help

Can you send M122 and share the results?
Have you checked the power supply output voltage with a multimeter?
If you unplug everything from the board and connect it to your computer by USB do the 3v/5v LEDs light up solid?

Does that photo show chunks missing from the driver chip and a missing resistor?

I’ve posted my config.g in the original post.
I’ve removed the M143 from it because it causes errors (Temperature reading error on sensor 3) and I need my printer to do some prints at the moment.

But the missing command (last line) was looking like that:
