I found another issue when printing in sequence. The total layers is being displayed for the last object only.

So when printing 2 objects the current lauer can go way above the value it says the total layers will be

Even though the messages aren't dismissed with M292, once the message either times out or close is pressed somewhere, why is the event message shown again, ever? Especially if it has a timeout, it must not be that important to keep coming back.

How do we get rid of it and keeping it from showing up over and over?

@oliof I find the new interface poorly designed and implemented in pretty much every measurable way.

It was conceived as a progressive web app instead of a lightweight, very, very, predicable and solid control panel.

@phaedrux Quick update: I did the whole setup from scratch using the latest (stable) versions for the firmware and DWC. That seems to have fixed the issue.

For some reason the Mesh was working today when I first started DWC. I had HOMEd everything but did not do a z-probe. Your question did get me to realize the mismatch of software.

Everything is figured out and working. What confused me was understanding the M557 wants locations of the probe not the head. I had been giving it head locations and making calculations to be sure the probe remained on the build plate. This bit of information is not clear on the RRF Config Tool.

I'll be damned. I tried with an "new incognito window" and it works. So it's obviously a caching issue, as you predicted.

I have done it. I used the Cordova WebSocket plugin for android, and it works very well.

@gloomyandy it's been every version of Android and DWC 3 ever. I've had at least 4 phones and an old tablet.

Android 7-12L, they all do it.
