I actually liked the layer change message. It was done with a Simplify3d post processing replace command. Unfortunately, their syntax is pretty limited so there's no way I can see to do it with M291 because of the double-quote characters on the P argument.

Unfortunately the wyze cam does not allow a static IP. I was looking at some third party firmware for the wyze cam but no luck.

I will look into the Yawcam software.

I wasn't able to reproduce your issue, however I don't have exactly the same setup. But I did find a possible timing issue in DuetWebControl that may explain your issue. Please download upload file dwc.js.gz from https://www.dropbox.com/s/qlk90c2pa9z5sch/dwc.js.gz?dl=0 and upload it through the Settings/General page of Duet Web Control.

[Note to self and chrishamm: the change is in line 1411 of jwc.js. Was:

Not yet, although if you enable logging then the start and end of all prints is logged to the log file on the SD card.

your command would be M552 S1 P192.168.1.xxx

M552 can only be used to set the IP address on Ethernet-enabled boards. On the Duet WiFi it is necessary to allow the IP address to depend on which network you are connected to, because the same IP address may not be appropriate on different networks. So the IP address is set in the M587 command along with the SSID and password.

Finally found time to upgrade to DWC 1.22.6 and can confirm that the behaviour persists.

In summary the "Heaters" section of DWC always shows active and standby temperature for Heater1 as being zero (with a multi extruder, single heater, hot end) .

It could be kind of dangerous as it is possible to set an active tool temperature in the heater section but not know that it has been set because the displayed value is always zero. It's not a problem if temperatures are always set using the "Tools" section of DWC.

Which firmware and DWC version are you using? I suggest you upgrade to the 2.02a firmware bundle if you are not running it already (RRF 2.02, DuetWiFiserver 1.22, DuetWebControl 1.22.6 unless you are running the DWC 2.0 RC).

@richardmckenna I recently erased my cache data and the new version of DWC came up. The machine is working however the motors are making more noise than originally. I do not know how to install stealth chop of spread. The notations across the Duet board us nnn to explain the variables. Is there a copy of the motor variables that I can dial in?
