I had already ordered a replacement Duet2. The 3 seems overkill for this little printer, and I hadn't even considered the Mini 5, I actually had never read anything about that board at all. I would go for it but no one sells it.

Yes, 3.1.1 on a Duet3 with a Pi4. I was wondering if it would be possible to run a DB on the Pi and have DWC dump the relevant data into it for each print, whether it was completed or canceled. Basically all of the info from the Job Status page logged for each print. I'd be able to see what the printer is saying the used filament amount is, print time, slicer estimate, etc.

It might be a clone, I got a bundle set online. I hadn't looked too close at the individual parts. The 6HC and 3HC boards I just got are legit though, and any other boards I get will be original as well.

I am actually going to swap out those wires for red/black with ferrules on it, I used what I had laying around during the initial build. On my to-do list for this machine. I finally got both extruders working, these crimp terminals can be a pain. Those wires were pulls from an ATX PSU cable bundle.

Yes, It has a lid that will hinge closed when I've got it all set up. I think I will do as Phaedrux suggests and add vents at the bottom and a fan at the top, letting cool air in and letting it pull hot air up and out. Maybe a pair of 40mm fans in the top corners and a vent along most of the bottom. That should be enough movement to keep the components cool...

I am just running 6 regular NEMA 17's and a Hemera, so I don't think the current draw is very high.
