@phaedrux 20% was much improved. I am now going to try 18% as still some very slight marks. The prints take a few days each so feedback is not the fastest, but it is a good test. Thanks for help

I thought that might be the case, I was hopefully there was a setting to invert the logic. Thanks for confirming though 🙂

@Veti - good spot. MMU2 on my Prusa I have to say works pretty well, I just dont know how you would connect an MMU2 to the Duet. I only have a single spare stepper motor output so would need the onboard controller (I have multiple motors for Y Z and Extruder already...)

      first world problems much?

Jokes aside; looks like pretty hard core! Presume the smaller screen is the "HVAC" control?

yes, first world problem! It was originally intended to also do some light machining etc so i went with ballscrews. Just never went down that route in the end as I have access to 3 axis CNC machine.

Yes smaller screen is HVAC and a few other bits and pieces. I also monitor the fan speeds, voltages and you can change the enclosure setpoint. I am building a second for the other printers enclosure with a 7 inch touch screen (I will probably swap the larger screen to this printer as it will 'match' the Paneldue

I also need to sort out the mess of wires at the printhead. It was originally in a drag chain like the motor wires but the loop cost me access on the extreme end of the x axis so went to an umbilical cord but it just looks a mess now 😞

Post some details about your corexy. motors, pulley sizes, extruder, config.g, etc. Post the STL as well.

Hi, having thought the push-pull was working nicely, and being out of filament for the past 6 weeks I have just got back to a mess on the bed. It looks like the initial extruder pushing up the bowden has exceeded the 'actual' extruder at the hotend. Its really strange though as I watched it on and off for 2 hours and it was perfect, they were matched exactly. Then this morning its not happy 😞 Are there moves in the slicer that could somehow negate the 'pushing' extruder?

@CTRDevelopments Yes, just increase the 'S' value. Can be as high as you want. I'd run G32 at least a couple of times if it is a long way out the first time you run G32.

@ctrdevelopments you would need to find a board to multiplex the step/dir (and maybe enable/) signals from one of the external driver outputs to multiple stepper drivers. I think Prusa might have something like that on his multi material adding but not sure.

Dont look at the paperwork, it was from the wiring on a different printer I have (I was using it as scrap paper for the colour pin outs!) I am using twisted and double screened cable and the colours unfortunately dont quite match the standard so there is a bit of mixing going on. But I have made sure each motor is separate from the other as well as signals etc. There are quite a lot of plugs going into the Duet that need tidying, but the eternal tweaker in me likes the idea of being able to remove and change without having to totally rewire.

I got the integrated ballscrews from Gary Higgins at Zapp Automation. I only used these for compactness in x and y, z has standard couplings). The linear rails came from RS and Zapp.

You can connect 2 more stepper drivers to the CONN_LCD connector. See the wiki page on connecting external drivers.
