@Haggan90 I finaly made a full tuning cycle, but I'm not sure if everything is correct?
The heaters run from a SSR relay.
Warning: heater behaviour was not consistent during tuning
Auto tuning heater 0 completed after 3 idle and 25 tuning cycles in 15067 seconds. This heater needs the following M307 command:
M307 H0 R0.123 K0.097:0.000 D63.29 E1.35 S1.00 B0
Edit the M307 H0 command in config.g to match this. Omit the V parameter if the heater is not powered from VIN.```
It would be a good idea to have the gcode wiki open and taking a look at all the gcodes you touch during the conversion to see how they may have changed.
@Dave-O Probably best to start your own thread. But off the cuff I would check your SD card for a /www folder to ensure that you have the DWC files in there.
Something I have noticed, is that the S3D Coasting and Z-hop is not compatible with Duet's Pressure Advance feature (M572) - or at least this is what I think (disabled Z-hop and Coasting and the bulges disappeared).
@haggan90
It's quite possible since capricorn tube has tight tolerances and if you don't use high quality filament that itself has tight tolerances it could be binding in the capricorn tube. I tried capricorn tube early on and gave up on it on my Ender 3 and went back to normal white PTFE tubing until I went direct extruder.
I had the same problem. My bed is stationary but the XY gantry moves up and down. I have 4 stepper. I went the counterweight route. I melted 4x1 kg lead blocks.
I wanted to use some springs but the strength change with the position in z.
Thank you very much!
I see I have a lot to learn hereβ¦
Would you say it's hard to implement that kinematics?
I'm not even sure which one to start modifying, as far as I know the Margforge printer uses this design but with one X gantry, I'm not sure what the kinematics is called tough.
