Announcement: Duet 3 Toolboard revision v1.1

We have just started supplying out resellers with the new version of the Duet 3 toolboard: v1.1

Key Changes:

Added a LIS3DH accelerometer.
Changed all headers other than VIN, OUT0 and CAN to JST PH right angle connectors. (Thanks @KarlMarklund who did this as mod to an older version)
Added a footprint for a Omron D2FD-1L30-1T or similar switch (may be useful for tool dock confirmation).
Added a solder jumper that brings a 120R CANFD bus terminating resistor into the bus circuit to allow a toolboard to be directly connected to a Duet 3 mainboard without a tool distribution board. Thanks to @Nuramori and @bearer for this suggestion
Board dimensions changed slightly (mounting holes unchanged)
Added a jumper to switch VOUT on OUT1 and OUT2 between 12V and VIN. Thanks @TLAS for this suggestion.

@t3p3tony sorry if I am a little out of the loop but it's hard to stay up to date with all the changes... is the toolboard issue where the motor was missing steps fixed?

@matt3o yes. They were the result of CAN communication issues and we're fixed in 3.2.2

There was also another less common case, which was fixed in firmware 3.3beta3.

To further "broaden the audience" to this board you might consider replacing the solder-jumper with a real one in the next iteration, then even the "only-will-burn-myself-with-a-solder-iron-fraction" might consider it

That doesn't actually answer the question though.

From going down the list the the majority of EU/UK suppliers are not listing the updated version, it appears the only filastruder are "on the ball" enough to be showing updated information, which is a pretty poor service from EU/UK suppliers.

I have even had it from a UK Supplier advertising the v1.0 boards but supplying v0.6 boards, so I am loathe to purchase in-case they just want to offload older stock, and not being able to purchase the newest item unless you contact the supplier and specifically request the v1.1 is tiresome.

I read that the accelerometer will only with the Duet 3 on standalone mode, not SBC. Any ideia when support for the SBC mode will come?

In firmware version 3.4, which is also when input shaping will be supported.

Any chance we can get a STEP for the new Version? I am trying to do a mount for a tight space, would be useful to have a complete 3d model. Guesstimates from the 1.0-Step wont work well as the connectors changed and the new board is slightly larger...

@pixelpieper I too am interested in that - both for to revise my extruder design and to also make an illustrated guide to orientation and what the "I" value should be based on it's position. I plan on it being fully graphical so it's very easy to know what's correct. I plan on sharing that here too when I'm done.

The dimensions of drawing and 3D differ......
Not a big thing but:
The two upper holes are 13/38 and 47/38 in PCB vs. 13/39 and 47/39 in 3D....
Not talking about slightly shifted plugs....

Edit: Fixed - it was actually all 4 holes shifted up 1mm as the hole sacing has not changed.
