Maybe move "Display" to the end of the list so the order of the standard entries (Files to System) isn't changed for people that have different printers with different setups? Or wholesale move it into the System section as a sub menu entry ...

I changed the frequency to 200000 in config.json and the connection is now established 🙂

Sorry to just keep asking questions... but... update what?

A G10 command in config.g? Some other command? Update them in config.g, or config-override.g? Etc. Etc. The Duet core philosophy of "Gcode everywhere" implies we are going to create or update a G-Code configuration command. Specifically, which one?

Example of why I'm asking these questions: Today, nothing updates config.g (other than the human, via an editor). That would be a huge line to cross, a huge philosophic change. Therefore, it is important to be pedantically specific regarding what "...saved for the current tool..." means.

By the way, having said the above, I am considering having ZTATP (and TAMV) place a file in /sys with their results. Such as "ToolOffset.g" or similar. Then config.g could contain a 'M98 P"/sys/ToolOffset.g"', if a given person chose to link these things together for full automation.

Absolutely. Anything that can serve files via http can be used to host DueUI including the Duet2 itself. When you connect to DueUI the first time, you'll get a setup screen that'll ask you for the IP address or hostname of the Duet2, and the location of your config file which can be on the Duet2 or the Pi.

As far as i understand DSF is only supported on a Duet3 board.

To run DueUI from a Pi or other webserver? No. The Duet2 doesn't know about or care about how it's controlled.

Or should i use my Duet2 board in standalone mode? It is possible to serve DueUI and DWC at the same time in this case?

It's totally up to you but yes, you can have both at the same time....
http://<your_duet2> would take you to the standard DWC.
http://<your_duet2>/dueui.html would take you to the DueUI.

That's too bad... A stable FTP connection to the Duet would be very nice to manage the whole board configuration in a git repository.

But rfm looks like a very handy tool to create some backups or to upload file. Thanks for your help!

@dc42 Ordinarily i connected my PanelDue to the CONN_SD connector. But i have tried also CONN_LCD because t thought i use the wrong connector becaus the LCD was off...
