@Snippy ironically I had this same issue only a week or so ago, try uninstalling bossa, redownloading it and also change the USB port you are using, mine was stuck on 5%

RE: Klicky probe config
@Dad003 given your Klicky has an LED I'm guessing its the PCB type? from what I've read its a 5v supply might be worth checking, but it may only power the LED, it may also help to turn the printer off disconnect the probe and meter out the switch on the signal/ground lines and check the switch is working without the power line connected, as another possible issue my klicky config doesn't have the input inverted with the ! in it, you need to find out if it's a normal open or closed switch fitted.

RE: Help with bricked 6HC (Bossa)
Solved...typical, just after I wrote this I thought to reinstall Bossa, and also change USB ports, it now works!

Help with bricked 6HC (Bossa)
morning, I attempted to update my 6HC to 3.6 unfortunately I messed it up, this resulted in the board not connecting to DWC so I have tried to erase and reset the firmware to 3.5.4.
the board connects to bossa and is recognised on the USB port, I direct it to the bin file, tick the 3 boxes and the upload starts, unfortunately the the upload hangs at 5% and wont go any further.
I have tried re-downloading fresh firmware, moving the file further up the root, erasing again but nothing is making a difference, does anybody have any more ideas I can try?

RE: 4 Z Axis Leadscrews
@Snyggis-0 morning, if I've read your post right your looking for an additional axis, not assigning motors to axes? if that's the case you need to add the axis to M584.
https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/Reference/Gcodes#m584-set-drive-mapping
Rn (optional, supported in RRF 3.2beta1 and later) 0 = axes created in this command are linear, 1 = axes created are rotational. If not present, then RRF 3.2beta3 and later assume UVW are linear and ABCD are rotational.
the additional "Y" axis would actually be labelled "U" and you then assign which drive you are using to it.

RE: Box turtle...
@jay_s_uk thanks, I was hoping this was the case
it's a better option than using multiple tool boards!, I'll be keeping eye open for any updates

Box turtle...
Morning, I have been nosing around at the box turtle I know it's directed at Klipper but I noticed the control board uses an STM32H723 MCU.
https://github.com/xbst/AFC-Lite/tree/master
could this be made to work with a duet board? I don't know a great deal regarding CAN protocol. but I'm guessing it`ll need firmware written/ported to make it act like a tool board? are there any plans from teamgloomy?

RE: Suggestions needed to fix a poor print
@jens55 just my 2 pence, first thoughts were part cooling, but looking closer at your print you have some bad ringing and/or under extrusion, maybe check over your printer make sure nothing is loose and then run some test prints and start eliminating things.

RE: Dead SSR or Bed Heater?
@Electriceye looking at your picture the input wires on the SSR from the duet are reversed you may want to try reversing the polarity,

RE: Where are people buying filament here in the UK
@deckingman I use Ooznest if I need good quality filament, they also do samples which comes in very handy if I need lots of different colours for small prints or just want to try a different material.

@kmjr20 You get the links because all the information is already written down for you, did you check the connections like I suggested?
-
RE: TRONXY VEHO 100 2E
@kmjr20 It`s best to start a new thread, attach your config and M122 to it, it does sound like you have a wiring issue with your motors check A+,A-,B+,B- match at both ends using the board and motor schematics.

RE: Temperature increase in duet 3 mini wifi
@Polo Hi you can change your maximum temperature via M143, but make sure your hotend is rated to go to the temperature you change it to, if its PTFE lined it`ll melt/burn, damage your hotend and more importantly its toxic, its also advisable to PID tune your heater.
what hotend/printer are you using?

RE: HardFault invState + DWC preset issue
@droftarts thanks for pointing me to the post, I didn’t think it was a possible firmware issue as it’s a new build and my other printer is on 3.5.1 and has had no issues, I’ve read through the post and yup it seems like the same problem, ironically since posting and moving the test print further out I’ve not had a fault, I will report if it happens again or try forcing the fault by printing closer to the pole.
I tried renaming the JSON file to no avail, changed a setting after and rebooted the board but it behaves the same, I’ll try deleting it and generating a new one.

RE: HardFault invState + DWC preset issue
@oliof Hi, override.g attached below, the firmware is 3.5.1, also included the json, I’ve tried narrowing the cause for the hard fault, my original thought was I was printing to close to the centre of the bed, but that doesn’t explain every occurrence, it doesn’t help that I don’t know what generates a hard fault reset! as for the presets I’m stumped to the point I was debating making a new config on the configuration page and flashing the memory, any ideas would be appreciated

HardFault invState + DWC preset issue
Afternoon all, my Mini 5 keeps resetting randomly, it doesn’t need to be printing or heating up, I carried out an M122 after the last time and attached below, the preset temperature for the bed also doesn’t display correctly, and mirrors the tool temperature, I’ve checked the JSON and the bed temps are there but not on DWC? This a new polar build I’m working on from scratch, I would appreciate if anybody has any pointers where to start with this issue?

RE: M669 polar offset
@dc42 Many thanks, I'll take a look at G10 and try implementing it, I have attempted using G92 to offset the distance on the X axis but somethings amiss in my Gcode and it still hits the wrong spot!
