@moth4017 What you are seeing is the current expected behaviour, there is a feature request to change this, but I do not think it has been implemented yet (or if there is any commitment to implement it).

@Phaedrux i tried viewing DWC in Prusa slicer in their "physical printer" it works ok in that , so i guess its an orca slicer problem.

If you have only one chamber heater defined (which you have named "Dry Box") then M141 S60 would set the active temp to 60 degrees and make it active.

@deckingman Hi im not trying to measure the RH at the HT but i need the sensor to survive the higher temperature , when drying filament at high temperatures the humidity sensor is in the same enclosure . also use it to dry desiccant.

@moth4017 I haven't seen a plugin for it, but i've seen talk trials of using macros @ daemon.g, can't remember how it panned out though.

@moth4017 So it seems that your woes were all due to the fact that you had an under powered heater. For sure, changing it should give a steeper rate if heating and alow PID tuning to work.

@moth4017 has anyone done a PID tune algorithm for PTC heaters?

@Phaedrux what's the Dead time , can i up that "D" parameter to say 200 will the safety features still be active or are they ignored for 200 seconds?

looks like D has to be less than 11 seconds

Dropping the value of R to 0.022 seems to have delayed the time that the error pops up
, how is the R value calculated?

Solved did another PID tune now seems ok

would it make more sense for the software to adjust the steps/mm so that you can set up the extruders with the correct steps, because when your using multiple tools keeping track of them is fun .

ive also tried this on a stm board running 3.5b2 same issue if you press "emergency stop" in DWC you get the "Please stand by "........ message untill you reset the control board.
