@o_lampe yeah I found that after I posted the video I was just hoping someone would do it all for me and then heck take over printer too and just start printing stuff for me. THen I was hoping that would migrate over into paying my bills, feeding my beloved cat, etc etc you know stuff like this jk lololololsosloslsoslsosolslsls!!!! I got it now thanks man sorry my initial searches weren't yielding the kinds of quick and easy results I was hoping for but I reminded myself its a hobby not a job lols!

@pickett may I ask why you need a picture of the back of the board ? If its for the labels then the wiring diagram is here:

@pickett ok so with the switches wired as you have them, if you are seeing M119 changing when you press the switches then tou can include the "!" or not in the M574 definition to make the logic correct.

Try with a 9-volt battery first to make sure it turns on and triggers. Keep in mind, you need a live and a return line (ideally plus a ground). If the neutral line isn’t open (possibly triggered from a SSR) it’ll still look like it doesn’t work.

As the other have said, If you pass the 9V test, check your pwm frequency and correct wiring.

Also make sure you haven’t blown the SSR. :). I had a few problems with knockoffs so make sure you have a good relay to begin with.

I think this is exactly the problem, At the time that the main switch activates, the other switch is not necessary at its activation point (e.g. fully pressed or fully released) which introduces a an error. But anyway, you can always fix it latter with babysteps. 😉

BTW, it just occurred to me that now that the inductive probe is gone, I can mount on that small clickey bracket an accelerometer. It's a good position, close to the nozzle, and with convenient route for the wires.

@pickett Ive got it working under Armbian and Ubunto both being Debian based the Duet packages are easy to install. Had a little issue with finding the right GPIO ready pin unnder the SBC I was using. Odriod C4 rather than a Pi.

Has the section for setting up the package repo that will work on any Debian based distros.

I haven't tried compiling from source. I can see the top level at https://github.com/Duet3D but not sure what all you;d need to build for a working SBC.

@pickett Hi - I wrote the Klipper config for the Mini 5+.

its literally in the first 3 lines.

# This file contains common pin mappings for the Duet3 Mini 5+. To use # this config, the firmware should be compiled for the ATSAMD51P20 # with a "25Mhz crystal", "16KiB bootloader", and USB communication.

@pickett the older pi were 26 pin connections. The newer ones (I don’t recall off hand when it changed) went to 40 pin but are backwards compatible for the first 26. The cable I linked will work for you.

I'm a bit confused. Are you using a Pi? If so you would be updating everything with sudo apt update and sudo apt upgrade. If it's failing to update the Duet because it's on a beta firmware you can manually update the Duet over USB to get back in sync.

@pickett Do you have an SD card in the Duet?
Can you also connect to the Duet via USB and get the output of M115?

@phaedrux GOOD!! Awesome now I can have a better selling point of the machine is it can be connected either via USB, Ethernet, SD card, or Wifi but Im pretty sure you can only print over LAN or Wifi via the DWC right? Or if I had issues connecting to DWC are the alternate ways of printing?
