Analog Digital Conversion. It's the part that takes the analog signal from the temp sensor and converts it to a digital representation.

When and where did you get the board?

Can you try updating your firmware by uploading this zip file to the system tab in DWC? Just in case.

Yes, something was wrong alright. They were only in my macros.
A profoundly stupid oversight of mine. it works as it should now. Thanks for pointing this out, I could have been looking for a really long time...
I'll get back in my lair now, a little more embarrassed then before.

@geoffvr6 Thanks. It's likely that the board is either older stock from before the macros were removed during production, or an older SD card made it through.

Regardless, it's never a good idea to run an unknown macro or gcode file unless you know what it does. This is just common sense.

@queevix what firmware flavour have you set PrusaSlicer to? By default it adds a set of new machine limits at the start of the gcode file for Marlin.

Also Marlin uses different units to RRF (mm/s not mm/min)

Updating the firmware did the trick...

I'm learning a lot here, and I think this here project would be doomed if not for this forum. 😬

@queevix I'm glad you solved it. Some USB cables are intended for charging devices only, so they have the power wires but not the data wires.
