@topenga If you are in SBC mode (attached RPi), use apt update/upgrade. In standalone mode just upload the web interface ZIP file from here or here.

it's not necessary to manually deploy the probe pin. Perhaps this is your problem.

Same for retraction.

And you probably don't want to use G92 to force a position if you're trying to use the probe to set Z0.

You should calibrate the Z offset instead.
