As long as that matches what you do before you create the mesh it should be fine.

Not sure why you'd have that in start.g, but the G30 afterwards is what matters.

You could either edit the gcode file manually to add the commands, or most slicers have that functionality built in in various ways.

@taconite That is very interesting. Have you made the design available somewhere - i'd be curious to see how much travel it has.

Thanks for the quick replies everyone. I can confirm I am NOT seeing any retraction movement when the stop button is pressed, so that is not the issue. @dc42 the hotend fan continues running as you stated as well.

I'll run some more tests.
