@luc M566 is not relevant here because RRF does not use jerk what starting a move from standstill, or when ending a move at standstill.

I had read about some problems on RRF 3.2.2. As soon as I have a moment I update both of them and hopefully well.
    Thanks everyone for the answers.

I suggest you do a probe repeatability test, it will show you the results of several probing moves in a row and you'll see how there is a bit of variability.

    https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Test_and_calibrate_the_Z_probe#Section_Calibrate_the_Z_probe_trigger_height

Do this procedure but run the G30 S-1 multiple times and check the results. Now you can modify some of the parameters in M558 and redo the test to see how they change the results.

That's right. Because it is too slow. You can still back off from the stalled state position a few mm if you want, but no sense trying to home again more slowly because it won't help accuracy and it likely won't stall the same way.

    SLIM_POWER_LDO-42STH25-1404MAC

You have nothing to worry about. LDO actually specify a winding temperature, which in the case of that motor is 130 degC. Winding temperatures are generally about 50C more than ambient, so a 130C winding temperature means that you could run that motor inside a heated chamber temperature of 80C. For info, LDO also make a high temperature version which has a winding temperature rating of 180 deg C meaning that it could be used in a heated chamber at up to 130 deg C.

    @deckingman
I have this same motor and googled my way in here looking up the temperature rating. I can't find it on LDO's website. where did you pick up the into that the motor is OK to 130c?

    I run a 50c chamber.

is the bltouch to the left of the hotend? sometimes this can be set wrong.

Yes, bltouch is on the left. It is a support that I personally designed.

    M557 X25:260 Y25:260 S78 ; Define mesh grid

your grid is very largely spaced. try S20

I try! I had given more space to have 16 points ... with S20 it will do many more.

    Thank you very much!

@luc Yes that would give you 1.5 mm retraction at 40mm/sec. And yes, you can put the command anywhere in your configuration file.

Printing from the SD card is definitely the preferred way to do it with the duet. More reliable and opens some more possibilities.

Most slicers now let you upload directly to the duet and start the print with a single click.
