@roth the sensor just senses the angular position of the motor shaft. By itself, it doesn't provide closed loop control of the motor. So the sensor By itself isn't useful, it needs the 1HCL board to do the closed loop control.

The 1HCL board has its own processor, power regulators, CAN interface etc. and is capable of driving motors at up to 6A peak and 48V. It's really aimed at Nema 23 and Nema 34 motors driving larger machines, and I appreciate that it's rather expensive for use with Nema 17 motors.

@Phaedrux - generating a M307 temp model range - for that selected - nozzle temp limit - would be nice

People are using high temperature filaments and require 400 to 450 C temperatures

      I’m using a mosquito magnum + high temperature thermistor + 50 W 24 V heater cartridge

And cannot reach 400 C plus temperatures, continuously trying to figure this out

PLA is for amateurs - High temperature filaments Ultem 9085 / 1010 - PC etc

      G31 P25 X0 Y20 Z0.35

The offset of the probe from the nozzle means that the probe can't physically reach some of the points requested in the M557 command. You can see the edge of the circle being cut off in your heightmap display.

Reducing the entire radius is one option so that all points are within reach, but you could also just leave the radius the same and accept that some points are not reach.

It's easier to configure a square grid to maximize the available probable area than it is with a radius.

      RRF3

I have to say I think RRF3 and the new Duet 3 are very good.
The connections are better. Clamp larger ones ..
      12 V at 24 power supply now possible ...
      And PID auto tune.
I can connect different sensors or panel due to IO_3 - IO_7 ..
      Everything has become more flexible.

A very nice advance to Duet Wifi with RRF2

      A Former User?

@CR3D said in Duet 3 Board Raspberry Power:

Once when I had recently connected the PI via the Duet3, the message Undervoltage came from the Pi ...

iirc the Pi will complain below 4.63±0.07V and dc42 said there should be margins for that https://forum.duet3d.com/post/147669

it'd be interesting to see how much drop there is in the ribbon cable for this setup when getting undervolt errors. I just disabled the warning and throttling as i don't care about the 5v voltage (used for usb, ethernet and maybe hdmi?)

You could install an endstop switch that could act as a backstop and have it act as a trigger for emergency stop.

      https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connecting_an_Emergency_Stop

However, it's probably more useful to just reduce the motor current during homing operations in the homing macro so that even if the probe or switch fails the motor doesn't have enough force to cause damage.

You can use M913 to reduce the current to a percentage of the default and then raise it again after the homing moves are complete.

I think before that I should implement feedforward in the heating system, so that when extrusion rate increases the heating power is automatically increased to compensate, to avoid a temporary drop in temperature.

Under Extrusion is because I tried to solve the problem.

Looking at the perimeters, I think it is over-extruded, not under-extruded.

      Thanks works fine.
I need to see what temperature I'm setting this to.
I think Tevo does not give any official value. For a TLM.
I do not know the exact maximum value. In many descriptions it says 120 degrees.
What surprises me however at the attitude that he may not reach the maximum value. Because somehow one must adjust that yes.
