If you connect to http://<ip address>/machine/status you get the machine model, and that has an entry 'job' 'lastDuration' which looks to me to be duration in seconds of the last print job. (At least, it does on mine - MB6HX + Pi firmware 3.1.1 - I don't know what combinations of hardware are needed for this to be true.)

this becomes difficult very quickly.

as soon as you allow for printing you could circumvent most of these restriction from the DWC.

this would mean that the user system would need to be implemented in the firmware.
and since its an embedded device with limited space, this would be a problem.

with the sbc connected on a duet3 this could be implemented on the raspberry pi.
but my guess would be that the demand for such a thing is very low.

Do not get me wrong, but I do not search for a workaround. I have a macro which does all of that for me, that is a workaround which works for me already. The 3.2 mesh.g would do the trick here..... Well. I wait for 3.2 than, I'm to sluggish and the level of pain is not high enough to update my raspberry .... welll well...

Yes, 3.1.1 on a Duet3 with a Pi4. I was wondering if it would be possible to run a DB on the Pi and have DWC dump the relevant data into it for each print, whether it was completed or canceled. Basically all of the info from the Job Status page logged for each print. I'd be able to see what the printer is saying the used filament amount is, print time, slicer estimate, etc.

Third-party themes are not supported yet but it looks like Vuetify (the UI framework used by DWC) has added it to some recent version - see https://vuetifyjs.com/en/features/theme/#api

So if there is a reasonable demand for this (and if users are willing to provide third-party themes), I'll consider adding support for this to a future DWC version.

What @oliof is talking about would put on/off buttons on the macros list on the right side of your photo and remove the LEDs listing from the fan control entirely.

Agreed. In the meantime you can use FTP if you have a lot of file procedures to do.

@oozeBot I merged a PR for PWA support just an hour ago, I guess it already contained those tags. Feel free to give it a try next week when we release the first v3.2 betas (or build DWC/v3.2-dev yourself).

Just thought of another way to improve on this. Since the program that is next in the cycle is controlled by Trigger2.g (or whatever trigger number you use), This file should be able to be deleted and re-written with the M30, M28, and M29 commands in a macro.

That is assuming those commands will allow writing to a system file (I have not tested it yet).

This means a macro can be used to set the next program, and also start the first program. so you could have a macro for each production program you want to run....simple 1 click operation, once it is setup.

@zapta I didn't think about that particular facet, but I do think it should all get thrown into a backup and restore function.
I typically work with industrial and military systems where this functionality is a hard requirement - granted; the duet2 is not either of these categories. Still, people do rely on them to get a job done, so it is warranted in my eyes.

I just occasionally pull out the SD card, and zip up the filament directory on my computer. Not quite what you want, but it does allow the bulk backup.

I have FTP enabled and I can access the file structure on the SD card and download whatever.

But the capability to download files exists in the DWC, it just needs to be given a few more features.

For now I will manage with FTP.

i would like to add that when i press ATX OFF that my bed goes to Z max and then after reach Z max printer go to OFF.

and if possible to add if printer is was not send to home yet then that is not possible to turn printer off with ATX OFF
