@deckingman That overlapping text content may be expected in standalone mode, because RRF concatenates messages that are not fetched frequently enough. You may get around that by increasing the poll interval in the DWC settings.

@marvineer Yes, I can confirm this, it's missing in 3.5-b4 due to an error in the GitHub build workflow. I've already fixed this for the next version 3.5.0-rc.1

@vivek first, find out what your PCs existing WiFi IP address and subnet mask is. I’d guess that the subnet mask is 255.255.0,0, so any address matching the first two numbers is going to Wifi. If so, you’ll need to set the IP address for the PC Ethernet port so that the address falls outside the wifi subnet mask. If your router is using 192.168.x.x, you could use 10.x.x.x or 172.16.x.x (see here for private IP address ranges https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/networkmanager/4.2.0?topic=translation-private-address-ranges ).

Once you have worked that out, set the Duet to an address in that range.

Alternatively, you can also test your current setup by disconnecting from WiFi. Then all traffic should go via the Ethernet port.

Please post your config.g so we can see how you have it set up currently. You can also send ‘netstat -a’ in a Windows command line to get the current Windows settings.

would it make more sense for the software to adjust the steps/mm so that you can set up the extruders with the correct steps, because when your using multiple tools keeping track of them is fun .

@amimafe According to the ispyconnect website, the DS-2CD1027G0-L outputs FFMPEG using an RTSP camera video stream. So it cannot be embedded in a webpage, or DWC, without using third-party converters like VLC, or by using an intermediate media server (eg raspberry pi) to convert the stream to something a browser can understand.

Important: You must choose a camera that has the facility to return a static JPEG image in response to a HTTP request. Not all IP cameras have this facility. Sadly, none of the major browsers supports including a RTSP camera video stream in a web page.

@hlwerschner 1. If you only have a single tool, you can keep it selected so you don't need to worry about it (add T0 to your config.g). Since Duets can be used to control a variety of different tools (or multiple nozzles), it makes no sense to activate all the tool heaters at once.
2. M104 is a fallback M-code to control nozzle temperatures. It selects the tool and sets the temperature, M568 or G10 (as used by DWC) do not do this for the reason above.
3. Yes, it does. It's the heater state and if it is set to 0, it will remain off as long as it doesn't get colder than that.
4. AFAIR M1 can be used for that in v3.4 if there is no sleep.g to override the default behaviour.

woot! I think we have got there - I took the card out, gave it a blow, re installed and and its no been recognised by the device manager!

We're working on DWC3.4.5 but we can also have it work on 3.5

@chrishamm Thanks Chris and @oliof We use in SBC mode, and making the files read-only has given us problems (I can't remember now exactly what the error was).

I think we are going to have to opt for a customised DWC, something we didn't count on in our gant tree.

However, we do need to allow access to the console to see events and errors in order to provide user support, so cannot be fully armoured. Also calls to object model to get some variable values; it's not going to be a straightforward thing.

If users are not able to see or copy the software we have programmed, that should be enough.
In any case, any IT guy with the desire to obtain this data at any cost would not have too much difficulty.

@gloomyandy The moves that do not trigger stall detection are manual moves from DWC, or issuing gcode to the console like G91; G1 X25 F5000 to move the toolhead (or Z platform) past the physical stops so the motor hard stalls.

Machine is a FlashForge Creator Pro with Duet2Wifi 3.4.5

An additional experiment I tried was setting the motor stall up as an axis endstop. That didn't work either. Although I haven't been able to gather from the documentation if two endstops on a single axis are supported (microswitch and one end and stall detection at the other).

@westech Thanks Jay, Everything is working. I have both duets onliner and my klipper. All by hostnames.

I think there was a problem on the DUET. Like I said sometimes it will show up as "Duet-WiFi" and some time by the printer name.

My second Duet is a Mellow Fly E3 V1.1. It always comes up as "enderfly" never "Duet-WiFi."

Yes. The second SD card doesn't need any system files on it, just files you want to print. Access them on the PanelDue by pressing the button that looks like an SD card on the main screen, then when it shows 'Files on card 0', click on the button that looks like an SD card again to show the files on card 1.
