You can increase the time allowed to reset a heater fault, it's the S parameter in the M570 command.

My other (related) suggestion is an option for a single G30 probe command to probe multiple points and average them..

The new is a well-forgotten old.

I have a DuetWifi in another printer, maybe its of help there sometime.

Docking positions are fixed, the upper part of all tools features the same docking geometry. But the position of the tool tip may vary from tool to tool. The offsets are defined with G10. However the docking and undocking procedure is completely independent from theses offsets.

Stall detection technology during printing is implemented already in firmware 1.20beta11, see https://duet3d.com/wiki/Stall_detection_and_sensorless_homing. However, it doesn't operate before you start printing from SD card. You could put the homing and calibration command in your slicer start script.

I've not been successful yet in using stall detection to sense deliberate motor movements caused by knocking the carriage on my delta. Part of the problem is that the carriages on a delta often move slowly, and stall detection doesn't work at low speeds.

Hmmm. Perhaps 8mm is enough to take the filament out of their melt chamber - that would mean they have a pretty small melt chamber though. Or maybe Sigma have yet to discover that PLA will hydrolyse…..

You could also check out Prusa's smart towers but from what I saw at the TCT show, the (sacrificial) towers contained more filament than the objects being printed. They seemed awfully wasteful both in time and filament to me.

Perhaps allowing two values, one that defines how much pressure is "added," and one for how much pressure is "removed" from the E steps, would help.

Now only [c]SIZE[/c] and [c]STAT /[/c] are missing to really call this a proper FTP support!

One minor caveat: only one FTP connection is supported at a time, most GUI FTP browsers open a second connection for file transfers. Mentioning this on the Wiki page should be enough for users to avoid this issue.

but if we had that for the 1.19 release how many more reports would we have had MY Duet Stopped working unfortunately most people don't read the release notes at the start and some don't even read them when things go wrong (I am very much in agreement with Deckingman) the furthest I would go is a notification that a new version is available with a link that takes you to any warning's re that upgrade.

TBH David does such a good job publicising these upgrades I wonder if there is any real need to automate it.
