      Try adding more bed size in the Homeall.g for example here is a modified section of yours.

      G1 Y-220 F1800 S1
      G1 X-220 F1800 S1 ; Move towards X and Y axis endstops (first pass)
      G1 X5 Y5 F6000 ; Go back a few mm
      G1 X-220 Y-220 F360 S1 ; Move slowly to axis endstops once more (second pass)

      Even though your bed size is 195mm in some conditions it may take more than 195mm of travel to make it to the endstop while homing.

      I noticed that in your homex.g you gave the X position 250mm of travel during homing of just X, you can use that number in homeall also if you feel like it.

      See https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Using_servos_and_controlling_unused_IO_pins. Don't forget to add a series resistor for the LED if the switch doesn't have one built in.

      can’t know if the board is terminal until you have 3.3v on the 3.3v rail. A coin cell might provide enough power to do a quick test….

      If the solenoid draws no more than about 1.5A, you could connect it to a fan output. But you must connect a flyback diode in parallel with the solenoid to protect the MOSFET.

      Another in the heffalump trap!

      I had loaded the Web Interface first. Fix was like procedure 1.

      Power down and extracted the uSD card

      Copy and rename the latest set of files

      Reinserted card and powered on

      Send the command on the web interface M997 S0 this upgraded the firmware

      Then upgraded the WIFI server using the web server

      Looking better - so back to rebuild the Ormerod 1. Such quiet motors - lovely.,

      Nice, I guess i was the odd ball out, I updated the web controller and interface no problem but couldn't update the firmware-had to rename it, and now all set.
      Now I just need to figure out how to enable the configurator file I made. Commence the forum search!

      Edit:Nailed it! on to BLtouch

      To be honest, I think the issue was loose wiring. Proper use of ferrules and thicker gauge wiring has fixed the issue. My new Duet board has been running with no problems at all since last year.

      The old board is still lying around… It boots up via usb. One of these days i'll solder on a new connection and see if it runs via 12/24v. My suspicion is that it will be absolutely fine

      @brian:

      I also used the configuration tool, on my Cartesian printer and there is no option for not using a probe.

      Isn't this an option for not using a probe?

      @brian:

      My x and y endstops work, now, but z will not. I know the wiring is correct, but theres something in the config.g file that doesnt work or something not in there. The documentation doesnt cover this problem effectively. Someone must know how to fix this i'm sure.

      Homing with a microswitch instead of a probe is in the wiki, in fact it is linked two posts up.
