      {job.lastFileName}.

@MauriceM that is from the object model and will be automatically updated to whatever the last job was.

it makes no sense to buy a maestro and replace the drivers.

one of these ports with the port makes more sense.

I've done things like that also.

When I really try, I can get a USB keyboard plugged into the HDMI connector on my laptop.

@Dizzwold said in Considering Duet3, New to RPi:

What's the preferred method of transferring files from a Mac to the RPi ?

It's a full fledged linux desktop so you can use SMB to access file shares on other computers as well.

But for any Duet related files like config or macro files you can use the DWC web interface from a browser on your mac.

I'm glad you found the problem! It's possible to replace the fan mosfets, but not easy unless you have the correct tools.

Individually it's not. It's quad IDEX ultimaker gantry style.

Reminds me of this one: https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/4914/large-format-printer/2?_=1612152417944

Except that one is a single ultimaker style gantry head with a quad output. Doesn't do the multi material/color part though.

Just to let others know, I was having the same problem as the OP. I had to force the update of the firmware using the instructions linked above using the BOSSA method and a connected Pi 4. Once that was done the board was connected and the web UI showed the tools and axes in the dashboard.
      Thanks everyone.

Check your cura settings for what fan it's trying to target.

Can you share a sliced gcode file from cura?

      Also, post your full config.g

      @Dionysos

      M307 works...

      M307 H1 B1 I1 ......

As an example creates a 'heater' that will turn ON if the target temp is below the current sensor temp. The other inverting modes are depreciated as of RRF3 it seems (but are not needed anyway). With your setup I don't think you want to invert any pins only the logic.

@dc42 said in Configure a heater to cool instead:

@theruttmeister said in Configure a heater to cool instead:

It will need to be a separate heater, RRF doesn't support an 'extruder' having multiple heaters

Yes it does, and has done for more than 6 years. See the M563 command.

      Ah so I see.
I did the silly thing of looking at M104... which doesn't support syntax for setting multiple temps for a tool.
