@tinchus DSF services run as dsf user, so it cannot access root files unless the "other" (anonymous) flags are set accordingly. You can try out https://pkg.duet3d.com/testing/image_2022-07-28-DuetPi.zip or https://pkg.duet3d.com/testing/image_2022-07-28-DuetPi-lite.zip which feature automatic USB mount support with correct privileges using usbmount.

@phaedrux I made the changes to G codes and also realized I had my probe offsets as positive values instead of negative. With these corrections the issues of this post seem to be resolved. Thank you for your help.

@techni It looks generally flat along the X axis, but bowing in the Y axis. Assuming the aluminium bed is actually flatter than the probe results, I'd look at whether the carriage is rotating around the Y axis as it travels. If you have a carriage that is heavy on one side, it may be twisting the Y axis. If your probe has a large offset in the X direction, it will also exaggerate any twisting of the carriage.

Well, it would be a shame to add another drive having 6 HC drives on the board..
Unfortunately I selected and bought the Duet3-6HC based more on the electrical requirements (motor power, temp sensors, FETs..), assuming that doing the SW-connection between an analog-in and the servo speed would be easier. I guess I overestimated my C++ skills 🙂

Can someone point me out how this connection could be implemented? Any input is welcome.

Basically, one analog in (temp or zprobe ? 0..10V would be ideal) should directly drive the extruder stepper speed (0..xxx rpm)
For all other settings I would use G-Codes over telnet

@phaedrux At the moment I am unfortunately very confused. I flashed my Duet3Dv2 back to 3.3.0 but the bulges are still there. O.O
I can't remember that I ever saw this the last two years. This makes absolutely no sense. I may have changed something in config.g between 3.3.0 and 3.4.1 that would provoke this result. But I can't remember.

Re-running config.g with M98 P"config.g" when you resume operation of the printer would also work.

You can roll back firmware to see if that's the case or just a coincidence. The other thing that changes over time is mechanical drift.

@ethelred input shaper should be ei3 not e13.
It's showing on paneldue but not DWC because DWC is loading later.
Run M98 P"config.g" to see what errors you have
