Any PT1000 should be OK as long as it is electrically isolated from the hot end metalwork.

That's not a thermocouple, it is a PT100 sensor and daughterboard. So at least they are compatible with each other, at least in theory.

How do you have the sensor wired to the board?

anyhow, this is all really only needed if one goes with a lot of low esr caps in parallel, with one big cap the ESR is high enough to not have to worry about this at all 🙂

As a sanity check you can configure the Duet to run in access point mode to see if the wifi module, etc is functioning correctly.

I have checked the M122 B1/2 comand. The firmeware update I installed in September, didn´t install the firmeware to the expansions, only to the mainboard. Now I manualy installed the 3.2beta to expansions (with the M997 B1/2) an the mainboard. I keep you updated.

I suspected as much, I have filled in a warrantee claim - only purchased the board last week so hopefully all will be sorted.

I'm glad I went with an original duet rather than a clone, i'm sure they will sort it out and live up to their reputation 😉

There is a possibility that actualValue does not achieve the requestedValue which is why I chose that logic.
However @dc42 may have to confirm the details.

(job.file.fileName!=null) will be true if a print job is loaded.
This stops the code from executing if the machine isn't printing.
As I said, without that there is a possibility (depending on your code) that you could send the system into an endless loop after a print finished and the fans shut down thermostatically.
This is also why I tested temperature.
