@hiroaki the first command you send after re-flashing with M997 often reports failure. Did you try sending the M588 command more than once? Did you send M552 S0 before you sent the M588 command?

That depends on what you want to do with G32. All G32 does is call the macro bed.g. You can setup whatever you want to happen in bed.g.

Yeah - 6mm belts can definitely drive those masses!

My experience for the past year has been that as long as the pulley is mounted as close as possible to the motor, no bad effects have been noticed on my largest machine that I haven't upgraded to double shear yet. On the smaller version I made of it, I made a double shear support that floats with the motor casing to keep it from bending and causing issues. So Far, So good, and it spins plenty fast and tensions as high as you'd like it. 20210610_075332.jpg 20210610_075321.jpg

The belt dust is from when I had a light interference with the belt from the edge, which I fixed with a deburring tool. Now we're at low clearance 😄

@Duckers Oh wow, been a long while!

I never got around to this experiment - its gotten to the point where I've switched from a duet mini5+ on klipper to a duet 6hc on klipper - the mini5+ used 2209's, and didn't really notice any changes between the mini and the 6hc, other than speed!

I don't use interpolation on either - experiments with encoders revealed small issues with positioning while using interpolation, but these are also very small!

looks like the VSSA fuse, which suggest a short in thermistor for bed/hotend to a heater.

By the way, four points (i.e. motors) on one planar object (i.e. the bed) is an "over constrained" mechanical design... nothing to do with Duet...
