      @gallaghersart yes you can do that, and the filament monitors will tell you individually which extruders are working. If using Duet 3 boards then each filament monitor must be connected to the board that drives the corresponding extruder motor.

      @dc42 Unfortunately I had to extend and run this cable through my system that took a few hours to do, and I did not connect the unused wires along with both ends needed flipped. I was hopping to take the ends apart and reverse, but I broke to many parts. Will have to order some ends, but the Accelerometer was found and I ran my first test late last night. So good news no fried parts! Thanks for your help

      @gallaghersart of you mean a 120R resistor to terminate the CAN bus, 1/4W is more than adequate.

      @gallaghersart @jay_s_uk is correct too much had changed (e.g many of the capacitors, diodes, the hole internal power supply circuitry etc) to make it make sense to convert.

      @gallaghersart, I think I put a switch on the XPT2046 output. If possible, cut the trace close the the IC, before any pull-up resistor if any.

      (Of course I can't be responsible to any damage).

      @dc42 some manuals how to calibrate S value? I have best results with M309 S0.03 (lowest temperature fluctuation by extruding the same amount of filament (PETG 235 degrees) on same speed G1 E60 F200).

      @gallaghersart
      Thanks For your reply's guys, I have my units in chambers and do not print till all parts and frame are at 40-50deg C. Thermal distortion is measurable from cold to hot. even though printer will "print" at all temps in a chamber. I found the Z axis has the most Thermal distortion.

      I'm about to share my designs of a series of printers soon (Bricked3D), all chambered except 2. with a larger 525x525 bed that I need to be perfect. I have found that a third digit after the (.0) ie 0.234 has a measurably difference from 0.23. on my 300mm bed.

      Just posted my take on the Skew test https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/26915/skew-test-and-adjustment-with-dial-gauges and I have all the pictures and source files for free and no requirements to download on my personal website https://gallaghersart.com/page/miscellaneous_3d_prints_and_source_files

      thanks!

      So far with new SD (fast samsung, was using SD card that came with unit when i lost files) I so far able to get things back and running with an older backup, SO i have to tune it back up today, but so far things work. I had checked the Original SD in windows going to give it a look under Linux.

      @gallaghersart
      If it's just a change in PWM level, it could be done in daemon.g. It would require a shorter loop time then the default 10sec.
      You'd poll the X,Y position and calculate the PWM rate accordingly. (eg. tool is at bed center => all PWM at 50%)

      @mrehorstdmd said in Is this a type for X and Y?:

      Getting it to behave well enough to print (or mill) would require really massive mechanical assembly, especially where the two guide rails meet.
      ...
      Cantilevers are difficult to make work if you're trying to do any high accuracy/precision work.

      I agree cantilevers on their own are impractical, but I had good results with the dual roller constraint to support the open side of a cantilevered bed or such. No sagging or racking, even without 'massive mechanical assembly'.

      @gallaghersart check out my YT channel to see some examples (eg. cloverleaf drive , penplotter and dual roller contraint demo)

      I think that's possible using 3.2.2 or 3.3 firmware if the fans are connected to the main board.
