That's because each object model value has its own default number of decimal places, which for pressure advance is 2. If you can show that a difference of less than 0.01 in pressure advance has a measurable effect, I will increase that to 3.

I've hit 100 something with delta and PLA, had to clamp it down to the desk (>_<) . My biggest problem wasn't that I couldn't push it further, it's that I found it not worth the effort more than doing it for fun. I could get good quality but I had to tune the temperature and extrusion rate for a certain speed. So if the area of a layer changed such that the slicer would slow down to give more cooling time, I would need to make a separate configuration for those layers. Unless a slicer lets me develop a parameter profile across multiple speeds and interpolate settings across that, I don't have much of a desire to mess with pushing the limits on my work horse.

I am not sure how much benefit would be gained if the SD cards come formatted with fat32 - we would need to format them to exFAT. AFAIK cards formatted with exFAT by default are >32GB (SDXC) which are still not supported due to limitations in the SD architecture on the MCU it only supports up to SD 2.0 (SDHC).

That said, once full integrated into the linux core, and if adopted as the default, then it will make accessing SD cards formatted for the Raspi easier.

In theory it could be done, but RRF currently supports only one type of smart driver chip in each build. Supporting both TMC2260 and TMC5160 in the same driver would be complicated, because the two chips have very different register sets.

Duet 3 main board 6HC uses TMC5160 drivers and is available to pre-order, with delivery expected towards the end of November.

Was hoping to get some insight from the devs here, but it's not high on the priorities I guess.

I can think of three likely causes of artefacts like that, that go all the way across the face (not just at the leading edge, which is symptomatic of ringing):

Belt issues. If that's the case then the pitch will be related to the belt tooth pitch and will not vary with layer height or extrusion width. A possible cause is the use of smooth idlers instead of toothed ones.

Motor issues (least likely). In this case the pitch of the artefacts will be a multiple of full motor steps, most likely it will be 1, 2 or 4 full steps.

Extruder issues. In this case then the pitch will decrease if you increase layer height or extrusion width. A possible cause is the use of an ungeared extruder with low steps/mm. Remedies include increasing extruder microstepping, changing from a 1.8deg to a 0.9deg motor, or changing to a geared extruder.

i suspect that most people will either be running pt100 or normal thermistors.
there around 100 ohm will not make a big difference.
i adjusted the resistor value in the m305 and its working as expected.

i just ordered the best rated radial fan from amazon. lets see how that ones does.
