@frank-0 I see the essential M552, I do not know about the password M551 call as I don't use a password to connect to the network.
I am afraid I am the limits of my knowledge here. I would go and see if the 6HC shows up in the router IP listings and go from there. There are really endless possibilities starting with a defective network cable. Have you hooked the cable to another device and checked for traffic?

I think you may have used the wrong bin file. It looks like you have a 7inch V3 non-integrated.

Based on that your correct bin file name would be PanelDue-v3-7.0.bin and at this point I would avoid using a release candidate firmware until we get things sorted out.

ok I have got somewhere, connecting as above I could not get it to work.

So I'm now connected:

Fan Red (+) - VFD-5V_EXT
Fan Black (-) - VFD-GND
Fan Blue (PWM) - VFD-out6_buff

and in the config I have:

But it's the GUI that reads the file and does the calculations? It wouldn't matter then which device collects the data.

@john-meacham another possibility is that there is current leakage between the hot end heater and the PT100. If that is the cause, then the reading may be different (more accurate) when you remove VIN power and provide USB power only.

@napierdmark its setup for 2660 drivers only.
you may be able to add support by modifying the firmware

As stated in this thread, the problem is solved after swapping the cables connected to the 3HC on the out0 / out1 headers.

@matixyo nothing changed here since RRF 3.2, so it should work.

Seems like just a config issue on my part, crazy right? somehow a e2 heater got uncommented because it was connected to a chamber light so it turned on (was never on before!), then the config-override had 1.0 as the PWM which i never looked at and i did delete but i restored from a backup as i messed something up and completely forgot.... it was a long day. everything appears to work fine now.

However, i did get the panasonic SSR anyway as the omeron is out of stock (probably because people are building vorons). i figured the other one is fine as it's rated for 40A. (probably not but it might at least be 10A).

If you have a meter capable of measuring DV volts in the range of 0 to 24 VDC put the black lead on GEN and the red lead on Z MIN.

That assumes that SIG is used to control the probe.
