@Phaedrux I received the replacement board Thursday and installed it yesterday. After a couple prints of about 3 to 4 hours each, it's working well. The prints have come out better looking than before also and I've made no changes to the configuration. Thank you for your help!

@sarvan the duet boards can handle 15-18 amps depending on which one you have. 260w at 24v is 10.8 amps. So you'll be fine without one

Over the years (and there are many behind me) I never have done that and it has never caused any problems for me.

the fans on the SE are wired straight through, except that the HF has the illumination LED string in parallel with it. So more likely the problem is bad wiring, or the outputs on the Duet.

So test your fans directly connected to the Duet. If they work there, then test your wiring harness. If they work there, then it may indeed be something on the smart effector.

I soldered my mosfet on it, I wasn't able to melt the negative pad but I could surface solder it.

Right now I'm running my bed PID, everything seems in order.

Which fan do you mean exactly by e1 fan? Fan ports are fan0, fan1, fan2, and always on.

Yo Phaedrux !
So... the culprit was not the soldering between the 80cm and the 20cm of arduino but the soldered pins in the smart effector jack... (the bad pins - for remove it I damaged it a little but one seems cooked)
Probably the arduino wire are too thin to be used in this case.

Now I have substituted all the wire with ones thicker and re-soldered all the connections and... seems to work everything. (temp, and calibration)
I have to finish the work but I'm going on...

So I can conclude that was a bad wiring . Solved! (hope didn't get still the spurious over shot temp , in case I'll open a new post)

Found the jumper and everything is working properly. I really appreciate everyone's help and patience with me.

@dc42 OK, understood. If we do a connector reachable for the user when no tool is present in the distribution board, in our case acts as bypass for this tool, not as the resistance terminator.

The distribution board will be leaved with the jumpers fitted as we showed in the last photo and cannot be reachable for the user.

The user will be instructed to put the "blank" connector when weren't tool in the 1 and 2 printhead cables, and follow the cable order if empty printhead from last one to the first one.

But in all the test we did without "terminating", all the times could be able to locate the board of the printheads present. Still testing a lot of things.

It's possible then that the SD card had some bad blocks. Formatting may have allowed it to use some of the over provisioning space. Might want to get a replacement SD card if you don't already have one on hand and make a good backup of your files just in case it's on the verge of total failure.
