Yes, I think it's pretty much there. For the larger cylinders where the extruders follow the hot end, I thought about having the extruders do smaller circle. So for example if the cylinder was say 100mm diameter, the extruders could do a 70mm diameter circle, but I don't see what advantage that would give me.

I'll think I'll leave it as is for now and get back to trying to get a 6 input hot end to actually mix filaments 🙂 I have a liquid cooling solution designed - now all I have to do is make it. 🙂 .

Yes, it has a plastic spacer filled with a matrix of magnets, which holds down a flexible steel bed.

Works well, but I switched to a milled aluminium bed with embedded magnets (after melting a couple of the buildtak beds).

I've not noticed an issue with induction sensors with either, but I've heard enough other people complaining that I believe it exists.

With RRF3 instead of virtual heater 100 the sensor name to monitor is "mcu-temp"

This was a great point... It was a lot of work for barely marginal gains.
Brass standoffs were not up to the task, with very light torquing two broke off inside the attaching Y-plate threaded mounting points and caused a few hours of fun - stainless steel standoffs proved to be a much better option.

It's a bit more work in Cura, but on the upside, you could have configurable settings for your "rules" in the GUI.
Of course the hours you spend on that could also be spent adding more....

I am currently reading the book of Warden/Situnayake TinyML, which is about machine learning on Cortex M and similar MCUs. It would be interesting to run it on Duet 3 for object recognition and categorizing for PaP (or on Raspberry).

It might be a clone, I got a bundle set online. I hadn't looked too close at the individual parts. The 6HC and 3HC boards I just got are legit though, and any other boards I get will be original as well.

I am actually going to swap out those wires for red/black with ferrules on it, I used what I had laying around during the initial build. On my to-do list for this machine. I finally got both extruders working, these crimp terminals can be a pain. Those wires were pulls from an ATX PSU cable bundle.

Thanks, I've emailed to see if they will do round and even better if they will drill recesses for high temp magnets to be JB Welded in.

This weekend I managed to work on a kinematic mount for the heated bed which is magnetically coupled to the bed carriage.

The magnet rides in a slot and the coupling is done via a magnet on the underside of the carriage

The magnet coupling in this prototype is strong enough to hold the bed with the t-carriage upside down, but only just so. Still needs some tweaking to be correct, but that's for another night ...

@hlwerschner holding torque 0.9 Ncm is wrong, take 90. 0.9 would be 0.9 Nm. Then you get other values...
