@pascal-0 it has support for nanoDLP (see https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Machine_configuration/Configuration_nanoDLP), so maybe it can be used with your SLA printer? depends on particulars of the machine I guess.

@paulg4h You don't really need regulated supplies to power motors. If you use analog power supplies with plenty of capacitance you probably don't need to worry about power supplies blowing up due to transients.

The protection circuit protects anything that you might have sharing a power connection with the motor. If you don't share connections there's not much need for the protection circuit as far as I can tell.

I installed and tried ideaMaker.

I went through it looking for the settings that I made in S3D and think I found them all.

In any case the first test print came out just fine, the same print Cura failed at repeatedly due to terrible first layer adhesion.

It's curious that Cura is so bad in the regard.

Granpa Pig solution worked. Disconnect printer, shut down completely, have a cup of coffee, turn power back on, restart printer. Z probe now working correctly. Printing a test job right now.

@kooper swap the cables between the boards to rule out its an issue with those maybe.

@dc42 I fixed it, the code the RepRap Config Tool Generated was incorrect. I had to dig around for the correct code.

I fixed the crashing, just switched the phases!

@itslikeboo I figured that's why you were rotating the magnets. Also why I was planning on igus rod ends in case magball ends came loose instead.

@paulhew best is just to download the contents of your sys folder and macros through DWC.

I need more details about what is and is not working right now first. If you have access to DWC updating the firmware is pretty straightforward and involves uploading a few zip files to the system tab.

If you still have access to DWC. Upload these 4 zip files, one at a time in the system tab. Don't extract them first. Reboot after each. Use M115 in the gcode console to verify the firmware has been applied.

Thanks for info I had lost the two lights due to not having a jumper fitted .the reason was I did not have a jumper fitted on the board when it arrived .since I had spare jumpers I fitted one works great
