They will use the same pins as the temperature and PT100 daughter board chip select pins. So if you have no daughter boards, the maximum number you can connect to a Duet 2 WiFi or Ethernet will be 8.

Thanks for the offer but I think I am going to pull my 0.8.5 board out my other printer, use a Duet WiFi (that I've never got around to using) in the Ormerod and then use the 0.8.5 in this delta

Where you have that, try this:

M574 X2 Y1 Z1 S0

That's assuming you have the X end stop at the high end of travel and the Y and Z end stop at the low end of travel. S0 sets them to active low switches which should work with those makerbot switches.

Amongst other things it overrides the "no movement before axis has been homed" default behaviour in the 1.21 firmware. The other way of overriding it is to include M564 H0 in config.g.

There is documemtation on adding a software implemented e-stop on the wiki. The more thorough implementation of an e-stop is using it to directly (or indirectly via relays but hard wored) cut the mains supply to the PSU supplying the V-IN or the DC side.

Switching on the DC side typically involves higher current and so needs meatier components. AC side os lethal voltages.

Why have two power switches? You can get kettle lead sockets that just have a fuse.

The C value allows RRF to model the variation of resistance with temperature more accurately, for better temperature reading accuracy. Thermistor manufacturers rarely quote the C value, but some publish resistance vs. temperature tables, from which it can be computed.

What program are you using to communicate with the Duet? I don't recognise those responses.

It looks like you are running macro files provided by SeeMeCNC to do firmware update and bed probing, so please asks them for support for those macros.

Yes, the Duet 06 supports 4 additional drivers connected to the expansion connector. Two expansion boards were created to provide the extra drivers: the DueX4 (providing 4 more motors and heaters) and the Duet Shield (providing 2 more extruders and heaters). It is still possible to buy the Duet Shield from reprapltd.com. Or you can connect your own drivers to the expansion bus.

@allankisaiswaroop, you don't need to use the extruder output pins to control the valve, see my previous reply.

First of all, if you have any devices that produce heat internally or externally (hotend, heatbed, laser, spindle etc.) then it's not a good idea to leave the machine unattended. Yesterday my hotend heated to about 380 degrees because a faulty thermistor connection caused increased resistance, and bad measured temperatures.

If we put that aside, then you need to have either a VPN set up, or IP filtering

Do you have this working 100% mine is the same and the setting I can't it working. X home Y home Z moves to middle and stops. I updated to new BLTouch setting and it still will not work.

Yes that should work, except that you should also put this line in config.g:

M584 Z2:4 U11 E3 P3

Also use the same Z homing code in the Z homing section of homez.g, or have homeall.g call homez.g using M98 to do Z homing.

Connect the U axis endstop switch to the E0 endstop input.

Once it get close it jumps to around 465. Move up in small increments it will jump to 535, its triggered but does not go beyond that.
