      You could try using 8 factor calibration instead of 6 factor, then it will calibrate for bed tilt as well in firmware 1.16 and later. The snag is that it is hard to distinguish between bed tilt and misplaced towers. Using a lot of probe points helps, with some as far from the centre as possible.

      M18 will wait until all queue moves are finished before it takes effect, so it's not much use here. I can't remember whether M906 and M913 also wait or not.

      That makes total sense now where S3D comes up with the .27 - I apologize for my ignorance.

      It appears then, that I have some issues I need to re-calabrate for my nozzle and bed leveling to reset my z height in the config file.

      Thanks.

      X mapping was introduced in 1.16 to support IDEX printers, so your X22 was ignored in earlier versions.

      I got this issue solved by upgrading the firmware to 1.16 … errors all went away and heaters are working fine.

      Thanks both I was looking for general settings. I'm not as familiar with Simplify 3D and just needed a 'safe' range to test with.

      I am hoping that we will eventually be able to display such an image in DuetWebControl. Meanwhile, see https://forum.e3d-online.com/index.php?threads/build-plate-height-map.2320/.

      @deckingman, thanks a short in the mini-circuit board in the head of my wanhao d6 blew the P0 channel for me so I had to remap it to P1.

      @dc42, thanks

      The other thing you might want to add to that macro (or another macro) is to redefine the bed size (axes minima and maxima) using M208. Just a thought….....

      I can see the value of being able to use previous gcode files by supporting volumetric extrusion, so I'll add it to the work list. I need to work out how it interacts with colour mixing before I implement it. It also interacts with use of relative or absolute extruder coordinates.

      EDIT: it also interacts with pause/restore, and extrusion commands in the web interface and PanelDue. There's a lot to think about. Does your slicer generate the M404 command itself?

      Thats not the only issue i had, after reading your comment DC42, (and haivng some other issues with prints) I discovered my steps/mm setting was off. I had it as 82.5 steps/mm instead of 80 steps/mm…

      Originally, i had to fudge some of the H-values to get the circle to print correctly, now it looks great w/o the fudging! (even better). Ill edit in a picture once its completed.

      Just posting this for posterity. Thanks for your help.

      I'm very aware and conscious of the power usage being much bigger. I know plenty of other that has done this with this bed and SSRs ( http://sublimelayers.blogspot.no/2015/12/my-current-rostock-max-ultimate.html for example) and my power supply has overload protection and should be more than enough for even 24V (700W, calculated power draw should be around 510w if my multimeter is correct, running at full capacity).

      I will try and see if the lag in the temperature can be fixed before i do anything else.
