i needed to switch the red and black wires on the Duet 2 connector, and invert the M591 command

@T3P3Tony sorry for the delay in getting back to you but i was able to confirm that this issue is filament slip. If my guide to at the entry of the filament monitor is at too much of angle I see slip. If I maintain a straight feed preliminary testing looks like i see accurate readings.

Currently the filament monitor is only active when printing from SD card. We could change this, but there are some issues with using filament monitor when printing over USB from a server:

There is no standard mechanism for a filament monitor to communicate with a server that the filament monitor reports a problem; When printing from SD card, if a filament error occurs then the print can be paused even though there are moves in the internal print queue. The firmware knows where in the SD file each move came from, therefore it can replay commands that were buffered but not executed before the pause. That isn't possible when receiving commands over USB, because the commands are not tagged with where they came from. So the printer has to complete all the moves in the queue even though there is a filament problem.

It's on my work list to allow filament monitors configured using M591 to run a customised file instead of pause.g.

Is a min of 0% mages any sense here?

I did have to sand it in the end but was able to, after a couple of sand/check/sands to get the agc to 92. Measurements are less rangy now. Thanks.

@dc42 Hi, i've tested some thing such as, different directory for the purge macro, even put it in sys folder, always the same thing... I also put it out of the filament-change.g, so in my pause.g, i run the purge.g after the filament-change.g, it does exactly the same thing... I also try without the purge, i goes really good ._. don't know why it does that ... maybe i'll try something else later if i got some idea. Maybe i should delete the config.json and config.g.bak but should do anything.

Good to know extrusion is always relative. Obviously changes a few things.

Can you tel me how to set something up actually adding the E values including M the extrusion multiplier?
If this gets too complicated I guess I'll add a second switch somewhere, even if it is something I'd like to avoid.

Is there a way to send E Moves to another axis which has a actual position? (If it is actually moving or not doesn't matter I guess) Something like creating a Axis for homing and the hiding it.

I have it set so it simply retracts the proper amount after filament loading.

Thank you for your answer, I 'll check my config but everything worked smoothly till last week. Also I think the red flashing led appear independently from the firmware configuration.
I discovered that the sensor is AS5600 so I bought a new chip, I am gonna try tho change it hoping to solve my problem.

I will take a look on their design an choose wich I will print.
My own or the design from I3CD printers.
But i think that the I3CD printers made a better work on the Bowdentube connector.

I like your solution, keeping it simple is always the best. If I was concerned about wear I would be more worried about it in the housing than in the metal of the micro switch arm.
When I copy your idea, I might move the switch back a bit so that less of the arm is in contact with the filament and possibly also extend the PTFE tube inside the housing and cut a slot into it for the micro switch arm. Both of these mods should reduce friction.
