Exactly. It is successfully homing if the head starts from the center of the bed. If not, XY sw may trigger randomly. I tried to increase distance but not remember if it was larger than the bed size. I will try it again. Thanks

It's only serial data, so the cable is not ultra-critical.

If it were to be long enough so voltage drops became a concern, I'd suggest something like six core cable, arranged eg. as two ground and two power with the data wires having one of the grounds inbetween them to minimise crosstalk.

The length of the 4-way cable is not critical, however the resistance per conductor should not exceed 0.1 ohm. The SD card socket on the TFT panel will not be functional. The cables supplied by Escher3D and Duet3D are about 800mm long. There have been reports of cables up to 1500mm long being successfully used. Take care to route the cable away from motor and endstop cables. Twisting the cables may help prevent cross talk interference.

Official recommendation for PanelDue cabling. There have been cases where the Paneldue cable can pick up interference and cause issues.

Does it say that? I think it says you shouldn't setup the SSID and password params in config.g, but to enable access point mode you'd just have M552 S2 to turn on AP mode.

Regardless, it's odd that it works fine in AP mode, but not with the router. That indicates the hardware itself is fine and the problem is some incompatibility with the router or settings.

@phaedrux polarity was correct i have it marked as per the diagrams that matterhackers offers so electricity should of gone through the right way

I think I've found the problem. The second tool I added to config.g had D1 instead of D0.
The printer only has one hotend and extruder so they are 'virtual' tools that let me change filament print settings (temp, retraction etc.) in the slicer.

i currently use a flying extruder on my predator.
my original predator used elastic cord to mount the extruder

Please post your full config.g and homing files. Also share the results of M122 and M98 P"config.g"

In general, double check your motor wiring, and make sure that -x moves to the left, +x moves to the right, -y moves to the front, +y moves to the back. Change the motor direction of rotation as needed and ensure the direction of the homing moves is positive or negative as needed. The endstop positions must also be accurately defined in M574.
