I believe Modix has support for RRF3 now and should be able to provide you with more details and config changes required.

In that homeall.g file you need to add a G1 X Y positioning move before the homez section if you want to probe at a certain point.

@norder Yes. You're right. It would be better to place the in/outlet on opposite sides. But i haven't the space for that.
I don't have "bridge" between the ports. But i'm sure, the cooling will be sufficient.

It may mean that one of the phase pairs (in this case, phase A on driver 1) is disconnected.

When do you get this error? Are you seeing any other issues? Have you checked the wiring?

You'll have to identify which wire is signal, ground, and input voltage.

You can use the Z probe input, and I believe the pinda uses 5v, so you'll need to source that from another connector. Possibly the paneldue connector if you don't have one of those connected already.

Make sure to update the configuration and macro files to those compatible with RepRapFirmware 3.4.1

The instructions can be found on the modix support site, and you can download them here

@john-sinclair203, I think your enclosure looks pretty good. Any chance you can share the files? Also did you need to bend or weld the acrylic to keep it more air tight for ABS.

@juku That depends on the diameter of the pulley. I specifically chose F608 bearings for pulleys in my printer because they meet the Gates recommended minimum of 9 teeth in contact with a smooth pulley surface. I get no print artifacts from the smooth pulleys.

@asif-istiak M82 seems to be a problem here - use M83 instead. Also why involving other axes that the one You want to move? G1 E1.0 F2.0 should be fine.

@bberger I am currently preparing iHSV servomotor mounts with 3:1 drive reduction for my corexy printer. I have designed and printed the mounts to directly replace the original motor mounts and will be installing and testing them in a week or two (waiting for Duet expansion board to arrive). I had previously tried driving the printer directly with the servomotors but found the resolution of their Hall effect encoders was insufficient for 3D printing. The new motor mounts use 20 and 60 tooth pulleys with F625 bearings and 5 mm shafts to do the reduction. Here is one of the two motor mounts:

      https://photos.app.goo.gl/Zc6jSDT3b6pQi9ok7

The motors are good for 3000 rpm, so with 3:1 reduction driving a 20 tooth pulley in the corexy mechanism, they should be good for up to 666 mm/sec. That's faster than I would ever expect to print, but larger drive pulleys would allow higher speeds. The motors have plenty of "grunt" to move the mechanism- much more than the steppers.
