@Phaedrux will do! But… I can say it does remain because my E-stop isn’t hooked up to the duet but to the mains. In an emergency I want everything to stop. Full power cycle is on my list of standard troubleshooting approaches.

I haven’t had any issues since my last post and the only thing that’s changed is that I’ve commented out the line declaring DWC needs a password.

@droftarts thanks a lot. I know the Zip download. Cool would be one button. I will look in the other options.

By the way, after changing the SD card to a new one, I did not face the issue anymore.

      Thanks.

@tkln no, you need to define each motor as a separate axis, and move that. So for the X axis, define an extra axis U which has the motor you want to move independently:

      M584 X0.2:0.3 U0.3

Then you can move the U axis with G1 U5 (relative rather than anbsolute axis movements will probably work best). I’m not sure exactly what will happen when you send a subsequent G1 X… movement, though. It should keep the spacing you have set. You will also need to home the U axis first, or give it a position with G92.

RRF does not natively support a six axis delta, so it will rely on the slicer to send appropriate commands if using more than the standard 3 axes.

Hi guys, did you ever resolve this? I'm going through a similar issue. Thinking of running 24V to my 6HC and 48V to the expansion board (3HC). Will this work? New topic posted here:

@dhmclean Yes, I have two older Asus routers that run 24/7 for months whereas my latest 3 (two mesh and one standard set into the mesh) flake over time fairly consistently. Admittedly the older firmware was comparatively basic.

I assume you are connected by USB and using a terminal software to send commands.

What terminal software are you using?

Can you send M122 and copy paste the results here?

@megamachine said in cannot connect to web control:

"could not establish a connection to the duet firmware! Please check your settings and try again"

Where exactly are you seeing this message?

I ended up with a different tutorial

I'm always amazed by the number of alternative packages to do "the same thing" along with instructions that sometimes work and sometimes don't. That tutorial takes a slightly different approach but better still WORKED FIRST TIME !!

Congrats and thanks for posting the link.

@ram yes you can push files to the Duet but it can't go out and "pull" them (at least with Duet 2). Duet 3 OTOH will allow for a plugin to be written on the SBC that does that.

Can you confirm that you are still running main firmware 2.02, as shown in the M122 listing in your first post?

I can ask chrishamm to look into this message, but he will probably ask you to upgrade to Duet Web Control 2.0.0-RC6, available at https://github.com/chrishamm/DuetWebControl/releases.

This thread is very old and discusses very old firmware. I suggest you start a new thread with your issue. Are you running up to date firmware?
