@dc42 In a closed loop, D is 0, and still, for a 0.8 nozzle, I tend to run at 30-40 mm/s, and at that speed, it is very noisy. The assisted open loop leads to shifts. Unfortunately, these parts are in production, and I just went back to open loop with reduced Acceleration and higher motor current. We will deal with the setup after this job is finished

Fixed it . It was 2 years old SD card. Good quality card. Formated a new one and created new structure witht the current firmware and config. back to printing

@martin7404 that's correct, if the tool board will be the last (or only) CAN-connected board on the bus.

In the main program I create a loop calling 50 times a macro that contains 3125 loops of my code with echo in the end

@martin7404 your current version only counts the first endstop. You'll need to duplicate line 13/14 and adjust for endstop1-endstop8 in there to count the others too.

@fcwilt i am on 3.4 on my printers, but this is just custom drilling automat with 5 axis and 2 spondles with VFD, if it is working it is good enough

@jay_s_uk Yes, i ordered one with lower power density. And also to make it smaller than the bed in order to apply some RTV frame around. As far in EU delivery from keenovo will be slow I also ordered fermio labs one 300x300 with built in 150 deg C protection that is good price 49 EUR and fast delivery. IT also produced by keenovo.
Original one 300x400 was 900 wats, the fermio one is 500 W. With the original one hotend fan was havinf hard time
Also to balance things I am adding 250 W chamber heater with fan for abs and other warping materials

I might consider some cooler there

@dc42 thank you I ended up using this board for 2 signals ON and Reverse, and PWM to ananalog board for the RPM

@martin7404 PanelDue (and 12864 if configured to do so) do show current position (within limits), but I guess you are looking for either a real time display or position reporting from encoders etc.?

This is not 3d printer just automated drill pres to make series of holes on 6 m alu profile

I don't understand how any of that would lead to needing a larger range for babystepping.

Babystepping should only be needed at the start of a print to tweak the Z height.

What exactly are you doing when you encounter that need?
