It is just to route the cable, having a handle for M16 nut and anti backlash clip.

This is the new config that works. The facebook group helped me figure out. It is working pretty well finally. Now I just have the get the prints looking a little better with the 0.8 nozzle.

Thanks for the reply. I emailed Blue Eagle Labs about the Haydn rods before making this post and they said "When it comes to temperature, the bottleneck would be the magnets. N50 magnets are good to 100C. "

I have never had any problems with the E3D pushfit collets. Whereas I have had one of the metal teeth of a screw-in pushfit fitting break off and wreck the hot end.

Perhaps the OD of your Bowden tube is under-sized? You might want to buy some new collects and some Capricorn tubing from E3D.

When it stops 4mm above the bed at the last probe point, does the green LED on the effector flash?

@benkay no sure what e3d are shipping, we have a good stock of 1mm thread so are not planning on changing any time soon.

@dc42 Wow! That's messed up. I would never have guessed nor figured that out. Makes sense and sure enough I had like poles at the top of the smart effector right near each other. Switched it around and poof it works. Thanks for the help!

im using 1.21 on all the things. not sure about the rssi. ill check when I take the machine back to school next Wednesday
I do know we have 3 duet wifi and we all have the same problem some times it connects and disconnects after a few seconds and some times it will stay on for a hour before disconnects. one guy brought in a router for his machine and he seemed to be fine with it staying connected.

to avoid such a situation i wired heater directly to the board..

The digikey are perfect, the cable quality itself is really nice for the fast/constant movements of the delta effector so I'm really loving it, looks nice too. I just had way too much issue crimping the cat6 double wire and getting it to fit even though I have a good crimper. I've never really had that problem before. Also the cable fits a lot better(clips in and out with no pressure)

What is your dive speed set to?

I had issues with the configuration tool generating gcode where the dive speed was too low, instead of probing normally it would just slowly lower the nozzle into the bed without triggering the smart effector.

Once I corrected the gcode to the one found on the wiki it calibrated properly.

I don't like the behaviour of FB too, but on the other hand, I would not have so many customers without FB.
The thing with non profit discussion groups is, that commercial interests are often not tolerated there.
And you have a business too, David, and without us FB nerds, who shamelessly promote and advertise YOUR (and other good) products too in our several groups, you would sell a lot less Duets. Alone your german dealer sold dozens of Duet Wifi alone in the last few weeks by recommendation in our german FB group. Like it or not, that is a fact too, no matter that Zuckerberg makes profit with our data. Thats because the majority of people (and our customers) uses FB the most and they prefer it over other communication platforms.
Whatever you personally think of FB, it still helps keeping YOUR business going too. And that goes for many small companies / start ups, who would sell a lot less without FB.
I am in my sixties (old fashined too) and still prefer other ways of communication, but I have to live with the things, that a bunch of other people use on a day to day base, if I want to keep my business going...

M105 Szzz:aaa:bbb simply sends zzz:aaa:bbb to the effector. The reason for both aaa and bbb is that the protocol used to send the programming data relies on software bit rate timing without the benefit of a crystal at the Smart Effector end. So the microcontroller on the effector checks that bbb is the binary inverse of aaa before accepting the command, to guard against errors.
