Your homing files are set to use an endstop, not a probe.

G1 H1 Z-266.5 F6000 ; move Z down until the endstop is triggered
G92 Z-2.5 ; set Z position to axis minimum (you may want to adjust this)

Replace those lines with something like

G1 X150 Y150 F6000 ; move the center of bed
G30 ; Probe the Z axis

@2500ccm ok so it could be the LED, or some fault with the wiring between the Duex and the Duet or could be the processor on the Duet itself.

I wonder if that filament sensor could have picked up a static discharge from the filament .

@Phaedrux I replaced the stepper motors with two of these:

and the machine is completely quiet all the way up to 10,000 mm/min. which is as fast as I have tested.

@bierent glad to hear it 🙂 one quick suggestion would be to make sure you keep a backup of your config, homing files etc on your PC, just in case it does pop out mid write and mess anything up

For anyone reading this, I spent 4 hours searching through RS and Farnell for references.

I removed all the cable with impedance not being 120 Ohms, and searched for 22-24 Awg cables.

The one I find that suit the best this application are the following :

Where did you get you +6v from to power it.

I'm trying to wire my NPN Inductive Probe and already using Out0, Out1, Out2.

@mahmoudz For future reference, the Duet range of products run RepRap firmware and not Marlin. The two are very similar to each other but there are differences. You'll find that the documentation for RepRap firmware often has better descriptions of what each command does and how best to implement them.

@fractalengineer I think you will find that the Pi plus screen draw rather more than 1.2A. The Duet 5V rail may well be at 5V but the voltage at the Pi may be somewhat less because of the voltage drop in the ribbon cable.

You could try running 5V and ground wires from one of the IO port connectors on the Duet to the Pi USB power input.
