@glenmo G92 Z0 would be simpler.

@chrishamm Thanks! I know it's not the first option to chose, but at least it works for now. We'll still try to make an actual SBC setup work, but that's something for another day.

This is done by using the probe to home Z with a G30 first.

Yes, Multiple threads from the same person and I thought it was working correctly.
I've had to remove my printer from it's enclosure (as it were), disconnect everything, so I could work inside the enclosure. I needed to quickly print a few items for inside the enclosure before I can put everything back (not realising I need to print anything before removing it all). So I've connected it all back together on my work bench.
The part cooling fan was on 100% and wouldn't turn off, the tool heater couldn't be found, machine reset, all to name a few issues when I switched it on.
I isolated this to my emergency stop button that was basically putting the printer into a constant emergency stop.
Don't ask me why, it just did, when it worked fine before???

Yep following the guide below states to use 3.3v and ioxin, not ioxin and gnd.

@liadyamin The informations about the controller and sensor are a bit shady.

does it accept 3.3V signals or does it need 5V what type of magnetic sensor do they use ( max. RPM the sensor can take? How many PPR resolution?)

There are other closed loop steppers out there and not all of them are good enough for 3D printing.
This one is a black box...

I'm one of those crazy people, instead of buying a few proper cables, I decided to just make a whole new machine. Got Igus continuous flex 16awg for my medium current cables. Been building for a month, gonna take another 1-2 but it should be a nice upgrade.

-3.5kw ATC spindle
-400w Servo Motors (2 on Y for gantry, 1 on X)
-Dual 2510 ballscrew Y drive
-1605 ballscrews on X and Z
-400w Stepper for Z
-2ft x 4ft working area

It's a beast.

@andnosobabin if using RRF 3.5.0-rc.1 then use M950 with the E parameter to tell RRF which pin drives the LED strip. I don't think WS2812 LEDs are supported on Duet 2 in older firmware versions but I'll check.

@MichaelKallner this could be caused by a bad VIN connection or a failing PSU. Check that the screws on the VIN terminal block on the Duet are tight and that the VIN cable shows no signs of charring.

@trucker2215 using bang-bang mode for a bed heater often results in Z banding. If you experience that then I suggest you try using a low PWM frequency instead.

@nkunst I'm glad you solved it! To confirm, you think the issue was a bad solder joint on the microcontroller?

I believe and hope I have solved the problem.
It was a set of factors that led to a progressive underextrusion caused by wrong parameters in the slicer.
However, I put heatsinks on the MCU and Driver, with the addition of a 30x30mm fan.
It was also crucial to have made the PEI surface rough, this allowed the material to stick perfectly to the surface and allow excellent prints.
Now everything seems to work...
