That's why I said it wouldn't hurt to use a direct drive on a bed slinger. Their speed limitter is the heavy bed. Especially with a halfling NEMA17 motor on the Y-axis.

If you have the endstops available, you need to use M574 to create a Z endstop and use all 4 pins with + between them. Make sure the order of the endstops matches the order of the drivers in M584. Then home Z normally with a G1 H1 Z move. Each motor will move until its corresponding endstop is triggered.

You can then follow that up with a G32 to use the probe to do any fine correction if you think that is needed.

I had the toothed pulleys ready (16T), I changed the flat ones, nothing has changed... Ok, the 16T aren't perfect with the motors 20T pulleys (the belts parallelism is not perfect like before), but I don't think that make a different for the VFA.

Now I'm trying to make a rubber base for the motors to try to "filtrate" the vibrations, I'll keep You informed but I'm not so confident...

@rooracleaf just a note that you can shift the Y endstop a bit to adjust the contact point.

its always there, you just don't see it on boot up because DWC usually connects after its been sent

@jens55 Euclid has sucessfully installed on Ender3's with auto deploy and stow.
You can always simplify and nad deply.

Absolutely.

I use custom "after layer change" g-code, in Superslicer, to sweep a range of frequencies:

{if layer_num < 25}M593 P"none"
{else}M593 P"MZV" F{15+(layer_num-25)*1.5}
{endif}

This will use no IS below layer 25. Then after that will use type:MZV (choose your type), starting with 15 Hz. By changing that 1.5 multiplier (depending on your print height) you can end at a specific frequency.

@oozeBot I'd say it's not a bug but intentional. It's certainly the case with multi input, single nozzle hot ends, that all filaments need to be retracted, regardless of which ones are actually in use according to the mixing ratio. Failure to do so will result in filament being drawn from the unused inputs, rather than the nozzle tip. That's why firmware retraction behaves the way it does. I appreciate that in your particular case, you are using a push-pull arrangement but if firmware retraction was modified such that retraction was based on mixing ratio, then it would bugger things up for those of us with multi-input, single output hot ends. Suggest you modify the tool definition when you want to use a single extruder, rather than modify the mixing ratio.

@Ottobawt the calibration process assumes that the bed is flat, the towers are parallel to each other, and the Z probe has the same trigger height at all point. If one of these conditions is not satisfied then calibration may indeed result in not printing to scale and square, especially if you use 8- or 9-factor calibration.

If the bed is aggressively textured, then using a large number of calibration point will help because it will tend to average out the lack of bed flatness.

Alternatively you could put a flat glass plate on top of the bed, run calibration, then remove the plate and adjust the calibrated homed height by the thickness of the plate.

I'm pretty sure that the X and Y parameters of G30 refer to the probe position and not the nozzle (so the offset is already being taken into account). You should be able to test this easily to check. I doubt if this is causing the problems you are seeing, but probably best to avoid the confusion.

If the rail is a banana then put it on some blocks or a rubber mat and bend it straight(er)
A piece of wood the same length will spread the load and stop you denting it.
If you go easy you'll be surprised how good you can get it.

When you run G29, the firmware uses the probe offsets and moves to put the probe in the command position
When you are homing and use G30, it probes in the current position.
So you need to adjust your G1 command to place the probe in the center of the bed (or wherever you want it to be) before you call G30 to probe.
