      @Stephenbright use H and T parameters of M106. See https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Gcode#Section_M106_Fan_On

The temperature you turn it on is up to you. I have mine set to 45C; hot enough that the fan isn’t on when machine is idle, cold enough that it turns on early when hot end is turned on.

This idea is pure sport for long winter evenings.

I do already have 3x various Duet boards in my draw, well 2x in the draw hence one is out currently “trialing” on one of the machines.

Thanks for the heads up on mini board though.

      Hi,
i just went to a local shop who sell/install screen protectors for tablet/smartphones and they cut a peace for my 5i from a slightly bigger screen protector for a tablet.
No problems with it so far!

Whatever you choose must work with it as PanelDue is a restance type touch screen.

Is this possible with duet, to just output step and direction from those lcd pins (STP/DIR (10 and 11))

Yes. The signals are at 3.3V levels.

@bearer I have both a Due 7 panel and an original Raspberry display. Which other displays are best?
Except the one from the Amazon link above?

However, I have not yet tested the original Raspberry display.
It should be for something else too.

@droftarts I ordered a multimeter so I wont be able to check right now.
@peter247 I tried to do that as well with no luck. I also re-crimped them to see if I messed up, but no luck.
@Phaedrux Thank you for the suggestion, I have downloaded it and uploaded it, but still didn't get any response from the BLTouch. Hopefully when the multimeter comes I will finally have my answer.

Thanks for looping me in to that issue. I did submit the requested information. It does look like I have one of the affected boards. I did swap out a 12v supply temporarily instead of the 24v supply and motors behave properly. I will wait to hear back as to what I need to do next from the email I sent in for support.

      Thanks

I think M950 has its own series of numbering for inputs, outputs, fans, heaters etc; but can't test to confirm right now.

Correct. In M950, heaters, fans, sensors, GpIn ports and GpOut/servo ports all have their own numbering sequences.

Ideally you should use a sock to isolate the block from drafts. It will allow for a more stable temp.

You should also tune the PID in similar conditions to what you'd be printing in, so having some air flow from the fan is a good idea so that the tuning process gets a more accurate picture of what heat losses will be like during a print.

Also ensure that your heater cartridge is secured in the block and that the heat block isn't too far up and touching the heat sink. There should be a visible gap where the heat break is between the block and heat sink. If the block touches the heat sink directly it will lose too much heat to maintain a set temp.

Also verify that running M500 after the PID tuning actually saves the values to config-override. g and also that you have M501 at the end of your config.g to load those values at power on.

      Hi Erik,

Thanks for the photos. I approve a warranty replacement.

My best guess is that the OUT0 fuse was out of tolerance in respect of the distance between the legs, and this damaged the fuse holder when it was inserted. I've seen several 15A fuses that are out-of-tolerance in this way. We have changed the supplier of the fuses.

as above, but there are also the 1LC tool board and for weird custom stuff you can also use the development board linked below. dc42 has written a bootloader and firmware for it to act as an expansion board
